I work on infrastructure — mostly the parts that sit between a request and a process: TLS termination, reverse proxies, DNS, and the small scripts that keep them honest.

This site is a place to write down things I would otherwise look up twice. Posts are short, usually written after an incident or a migration, and they assume you already know what a certificate chain is.

How it is built

Hand-written HTML and one stylesheet. No build step, no JavaScript, no third-party requests. Pages are served by nginx from a single directory, which makes the whole thing easy to reason about and hard to break.

If something here is wrong, it is usually because the details changed after I wrote it. Corrections are welcome.
